Four years ago, I decided that it was about time that I did what I’d been talking about my whole career, which was to start a business of my own. I sat in coffee shop in Moorgate in front of my laptop, trying to come up with a good name for a company.
I had worked in telecoms, data centres and tech all my life and I’d noticed one common theme. The companies that I had experienced had great leaders, brilliant engineers, outstanding sales teams and clever financiers but rarely could they articulate their own stories and explain their propositions to customers in a compelling, succinct and engaging way.
So, the genesis of Conscient was a company that would do exactly that.
Since the coffee shop days, we have been helping an increasing number of customers clearly explain their products and services with intelligent marketing. We have focussed on the technology sectors where we have direct experience, which allows us to quickly understand our client’s products and explain how they can help, in an engaging way, to their target audiences. The ability to intuitively understand our client’s business context and portfolio, with the minimum of explanation is at the heart of what we do at Conscient. This, combined with extensive experience of designing and executing successful marketing campaigns, differentiates us from our competitors.
I’d like to thank all the friends, colleagues and customers that have helped us on our journey, it’s been absolutely brilliant. I’m looking forward to continuing to deliver great results for our customers, growing the company and most importantly keeping it fun!
